I'm a painter of characters and landscapes on digital media. I work quickly, tend to even the most minor details, and try to capture the realism and truth of the moment in light and color.

Born in Vietnam and raised in Southern California, I faced many challenges of both cultures my whole life. At an early age, as a way to get away from it all, I imagined living in a fantasy world and created these worlds with pencil and paper. From inanimate objects like chairs and windows to family, friends, and animals, I started to see everything in my life as art.

 

I recently received my Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Entertainment Art & Animation at Cal State Fullerton. I have a great passion for Photoshop; the tools it has help me easily put what's in my mind onto a digital canvas. My peers have told me that my greatest skill is paying attention to detail. The teeth, eyes, mouth, and skin of a character are the most important in making something imaginary become real.

 

I currently live in Garden Grove, CA and I am looking for work in the character and prop cleanup artist or concept artist. I specialize in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Maya.
